South Africa’s smallest antelope. Both sexes have little, straight horns that are sometimes barely visible due to a hairball covering them. They only measure about 300 mm at the shoulders and have a blue-gray coat. Although their preferred food is fresh leaves, fruit, and flowers, they are known to consume insects and bird eggs. Blue duikers typically pair off for life and spend the most of their time together.
