The largest member of the monkey family, they are a highly social species that live in groups of 10 to 200 individuals, depending on the availability of food. Men are physically larger than females and have long, razor-sharp canine teeth in addition to having a dark mane on their neck. Baboons are omnivorous, eating everything from roots to bulbs to wild fruits and seeds to leaves to flowers to insects to mice to birds to young antelope.
