There is no malaria transmission in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. Malaria is mostly found in the northern and eastern parts of South Africa, particularly in the Limpopo, Mpumalanga, and KwaZulu-Natal provinces. The Eastern Cape Province is considered a low-risk area for malaria transmission due to its climatic conditions and geographic location. However, travelers visiting the province are still advised to take precautions to prevent mosquito bites, such as using insect repellent, wearing long-sleeved clothing and pants, and sleeping under mosquito nets or in air-conditioned rooms. It’s always best to check with a healthcare professional or travel clinic before traveling to any area with a risk of malaria transmission. Hunt at Olivewoods Game Farm for peace of mind!
